Cooling
ClimaCab's® high volt, continuously variable speed compressor and blower deliver 8,000 BTUs/hr of cooling for over 12 hours.  Intelligent controls monitor and adjust to compensate for changing temperatures, maximizing efficiency and providing superior comfort.

The system requires no ducting, saving space under the bunk and making the install faster.  No ducting also means there is no static pressure, allowing you to get 100% of the fan's rated CFM (cubic feet per minute).

Fixed vs. variable speed
Fixed speed components are either powered fully on or fully off.  Overall efficiency decreases because components cannot vary their power output to adjust for changing loads.  Variable speed components allow for more precise power variations, providing smoother operation, torque control, and enhanced efficiency.

Not all variable speeds are equal
In many instances, variable speed is used to describe 'Low/Medium/High' settings.  While better than fixed speed, this still greatly restricts the system's ability to optimize for changing loads.  That's why Glacier Bay uses continuously variable speed components which utilize the full power spectrum, not just three increments.

Precise control
Variable speed components are only as good as the electronic controller which powers them.  If controls are limited to 'Low/Medium/High', those limitations extend across the entire system.

Competitors may use variable speed compressors, but none use variable speed controls.  ClimaCab's® continuously variable speed controls work in unison with components to deliver only the power you need at the moment.  This translates to maximum efficiency and extended run times.  Continue
